Logitech G is partnering with Tencent Games to release a handheld console specifically focused on cloud gaming before the end of this year. The so-called Logitech G Gaming Handheld will offer support for several streaming services, including Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce Now. So far, this is an initial announcement, as neither the appearance nor the suggested retail price has been revealed.
This name is probably not fixed yet, in addition, no specifications will be released. Thanks to the hardware expertise of Logitech on the one hand and the software knowledge of Tencent Games on the other, the device should in any case be able to play AAA games “almost everywhere”. Whether games can be run locally, as is the case with the Nintendo Switch and Valves Steam Deck, will remain to be seen.
