upper monthHe quietly made an appearance at the WirForce e-sports carnivalfrom Logitech G Cloud Cloud Gaming Handheldofficially released today in Taiwan, and at the same time announced the cooperation with Taiwan Mobile GeForce Now Servicecooperation programme. Taiwan is also the first market outside North America to sell G Cloud after the US and Canada.

Logitech G Cloud is a horizontal game console with a 7-inch screen, featuring three main game modes. One is, as the name suggests, connecting to cloud gaming services such as GeForce Now, Xbox Cloud Gaming, etc., allowing you to play through cloud services wherever there is Wi-Fi. If you don’t want to pay a monthly fee, it can also connect to your personal gaming device, connect PlayStation, Xbox, Steam Link via Wi-Fi, so you can play anywhere at home. Finally, G Cloud uses the Android operating system, and although it uses only the Snapdragon 720G processor, it is enough to play small games or watch videos from YouTube, Netflix and other services and use it as an entertainment machine.

G Cloud’s 7-inch screen has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080, a refresh rate of 60Hz, and weighs 463g. It has 64GB of built-in storage (expandable via MicroSD) and claims to last for up to 12 hours of battery life. However, G Cloud is not equipped with a mobile network, which means that it can only be connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi, of course, sharing the Internet through mobile phones is one way, but if the delay can be accepted, it must be tested.

It is precisely because G Cloud does not have a 5G network that the handheld discount plan launched by Taiwan Mobile is a bit subtle: it still adopts the traditional 5G machine-free binding strategy, with a monthly payment of NT $999 to bind a number of 5G phone for more than 36 months (or NT $1,199 for more than 30 months) you can buy G Cloud for zero yuan, and also get 6 months of GeForce Now free and 12 months of Disney+ (Disney+ must be tied for about 24 months and the original price of NT$270 for the next 12 months) /moon). That is to say, you have implemented Taiwan Mobile’s 5G plan, but you can’t use it for G Cloud directly.

The G Cloud stand-alone price is NT$11,990, and it appears to be sold exclusively by Taiwan Mobile for now, and is expected to go on sale in Taiwan on December 23rd. The pre-order period runs from December 16 to 22, and the first 1,000 purchasers will receive an early G Cloud dedicated portable stand gift.
