Logitech announces the MX Anywhere 3, a smaller and lighter variant of the MX Master 3, released a year ago. The MX Anywhere 3 has the same scroll wheel as the Master 3 and can also be connected to several devices at the same time. It costs 90 euros.
Of Logitech MX Anywhere 3 will be available at the end of this month and will be available in three colors. A regular version and an ‘MX Anywhere 3 for Mac’ will appear. Both will receive a suggested retail price of ninety euros. The MX Anywhere 3 is a wireless mouse that is equipped with the same metal scroll wheel as the MX Master 3. Electromagnets ensure that this MagSpeed Scroll Wheel can turn lightly and quickly. Just like the MX Master 3, the MX Anywhere 3 can also be connected to three different devices at the same time. The Anywhere 3 also supports Logitech Flow, a technology that allows images and documents to be copied between different computers.
With a weight of 99 grams, the MX Anywhere 3 is a lot lighter than the Master 3, which weighs 141 grams. This is mainly because the Anywhere 3 is a lot smaller. That is not at the expense of the battery life. According to Logitech, both models last 70 days with normal use. Charging is via a USB-C connector. With the regular variant of the Anywhere 3, Logitech supplies a dongle that communicates on the 2.4GHz WiFi band. However, the mouse can also communicate via bluetooth. In contrast to the Master 3, the Anywhere 3 can be used both left and right handed.
