Logistics: The Spanish group MPG sets up in Morocco

The Spanish MPG group, a leading company in maritime transport, logistics and project cargo processing, announced the opening of two delegations in Casablanca and Tangier.

»The decision to set up in Morocco was not taken at random. The choice of Casablanca and Tangier responds to their strategic geographical position, their developed logistics infrastructure and their importance as hubs and logistics centers in the region,” indicates the group in a press release, published Friday.

“This choice will allow the company to take full advantage of growth opportunities and better serve its customers in Africa and the Middle East,” adds MPG Group.

In particular, specifies the same source, the Casablanca delegation will allow the group to be located “at the heart of the action and close to financial and commercial centers”.

The establishment in Morocco “is only the first step” in the company’s growth strategy in Africa and the Middle East, according to MPG.

“This expansion represents an important step in the company’s overall growth strategy,” said Carmen Amador, general manager of MPG, quoted in the press release.
