Löffingen-Göschweiler: Accident on the L 170 near Göschweiler – delivery van comes off the road – driver seriously injured, flown in a helicopter to a special clinic

On January 22nd, around 9:00 a.m., a 39-year-old man drove the L170 from Göschweiler in his delivery van towards Bonndorf-Schattenmühle. Due to the slippery ice and excessive speed, the small truck came off the lane, collided with the guardrail and several traffic signs, and then fell down a slope with its vehicle. The casualty had to be flown to a special clinic in Freiburg by a helicopter with a back injury. There was considerable damage to the delivery truck.

The fire brigade from Löffingen was used to secure the vehicle lying on the slope.

The road in this area had to be partially closed for the duration of the rescue work. This resulted in traffic obstructions at times.

The Titisee-Neustadt police station has started the investigation and asks any witnesses to the accident to call 07651 93360.
