When I became seriously ill shortly after seeing my positive pregnancy test, I thought: ‘this must be part of it’. I’ll be back to normal in a week. Now more than eight months later and I’m still on HG’s mean rollercoaster. I have literally experienced all ailments. How weak a person can feel, lost, exhausted and powerless. Turning over in bed and having to throw up from your just washed duvet, close the curtains day and night because the light is too bright, throwing up from a sip of water and not being able to wash yourself anymore because that takes too much energy. HG: What a mean devil you are!”

entertainment">Loes is grateful to her family for the support she receives. “When I couldn’t handle it physically or mentally, my family dragged me through it. What respect and unprecedented love I have received for them and from them.”
