Because she opened her restaurant in lockdown and was caught again and again without a mask, the Linz anger landlady received hefty penalties. Now she wants to close her restaurant permanently.
The Linz landlady Alexandra Pervulesko became famous because in 2021, given her financial situation, she was forced to open her “Badcafe” in Linz’s Badgasse despite the lockdowns. Pervulesko imposed a 5,000 euro fine for unlocking the lockdown.
But that was not the only administrative penalty, the landlady also received penalties for repeatedly not wearing an FFP2 mask. Because she couldn’t – or didn’t want to – pay the fines, she was even in custody. But the cult landlady always stuck to it: “If I’m not in custody, I’ll unlock it.”
But now things seem to be different: As reported by linza.at, the Badcafé is now finally closing. “I can no longer and I don’t want to anymore,” Pervulesko is quoted as saying.
