According to him, in Ivano-Frankivsk region, in which quarantine restrictions were introduced in mid-February, the situation stabilized and the incidence began to decline.
“Therefore, today we say that it is necessary to close the whole of Ukraine (it is impossible, – ed.). It’s too late for Ivano-Frankivsk region, because they did it earlier. The same situation is in Transcarpathian region“, – said Lyashko.
He added that the situation is improving in Chernivtsi and Zhytomyr region, which was also one of the first to enter quarantine restrictions.
“Kiev shows stabilization. Yesterday was the first day when there was no increase in the number of hospitalized and cases, “- said the chief sanitary doctor.
Lyashko emphasizes that a lockdown is not needed throughout Ukraine. In particular, the situation with the coronavirus in Kherson and Kirovograd regions is currently stable. AT Cherkasy region oxygen beds are 36% occupied.
