From Sunday, March 21, in the Kiev region tightened quarantine restrictions. This is due to an increase in the number of new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations.
This decision was made at a meeting of the regional commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations. What is now prohibited in the region – read further in the material OBOZREVATEL.
So, since March 21, the following bans have been in force in the Kiev region:

the carriage of passengers in buses, trams and trolleybuses in the amount of more than 50% of the seats is prohibited;

it is not allowed to hold divine services if it is impossible to provide at least 10 square meters of space for one person;
-
the work of bars, cafes and restaurants is prohibited, except for delivery and take-away, as well as the work of shopping and entertainment centers and children’s entertainment institutions;
-
the operation of grocery stores, pharmacies, pet stores and flower shops is allowed, provided that there is no more than one buyer per 20 square meters of premises;
-
the sale of non-food products is prohibited, except for delivery and self-pickup;
-
the operation of non-food markets and fairs is prohibited;
-
cultural institutions, swimming pools should not work, it is forbidden to hold public events, except for matches of team game sports without spectators.

In addition, after the holidays, everyone, except for students in grades 1-4 of schools, will study remotely. Kindergartens and special educational institutions will continue to work as usual.
It should be noted that the operation of grocery stores, pharmacies, pet stores, flower shops, as well as household chemicals is allowed in the region. If a indicators will improve during the week, the commission may reconsider the decision on hard restrictions.
