ADELAIDE, KOMPAS.com – Lockdown six days in Australia The South will be halted, officials said on Friday, due to the lie of a pizza shop employee in contact tracing.
Reported AFP, the worker lied to contact tracers about how he contracted it corona virus.
Premier Steven Marshall implied lockdown will end on Saturday night (11/21/2020), two days ahead of the original schedule.
Marshall said a man who claimed he was a customer at the pizza shop that was the coronavirus hotspot had contracted it Covid-19.
That explanation led local authorities to believe that the virus could be transmitted through food boxes. But the truth is he is not a customer but an employee there.
“One of the close contacts associated with the Woodville pizza bar purposely misled our contact tracing team,” Marshall said.
“Their stories do not match. We are looking for them. We know they are lying,” he continued.

The man who lied would likely not be prosecuted, police said.
“The Emergency Management Act requires people to provide information as requested,” police commissioner Grant Stevens was quoted as saying AFP.
“There is no penalty for not answering those questions honestly.”
However, local authorities stressed that the lockdown was still necessary and that pizza shop customers should still be tested.

On Wednesday (11/18/2020) they ordered schools, shops, pubs, factories and even restaurants takeaway to close, then an order to stay at home is issued to all citizens in the state.
Since then tens of thousands of tests have shown no new infections in the community and the cluster numbered only 25 cases, leading to accusations that the authorities were overreacting.
People in Adelaide and other states will be able to leave their homes to exercise immediately, and most of the rest of the restrictions will be eased by Saturday evening (21/11/2020).
