The measures against COVID-19 in Sofia district are being tightened, the press center of the district governor announced.
All mass events, such as music and other festivals, fairs, folklore initiatives and others of this nature, are suspended.
Mass indoor sports events are suspended, and the same are held outdoors without an audience, except for those included in the annual state sports calendar.
Visits to cinemas, theaters and other indoor stage events are allowed when using no more than 30% of the capacity of the premises, occupying only seats in one, observing a physical distance of at least 1.5 m between visitors and wearing protective face masks.
Organized group visits to museums and galleries are suspended. All natural and legal persons who own or manage commercial and administrative sites that provide services to citizens, create an organization to control the number of customers in the site, not allowing more than 1 person per 8 square meters.
In all markets, marketplaces, bazaars and exhibitions, an organization is created for one-way traffic, ensuring control of entrants and admitting no more than 1 person per 8 square meters and providing a distance of at least 1.5 meters between visitors. Workers and visitors are required to wear a face mask.
Attendance of group classes in language centers, educational centers and other training centers, dance, music and other schools is suspended.
Visits to children’s centers, clubs and others providing organized group services for children are suspended.
Private gatherings (weddings, baptisms, funerals, etc.) are held in the presence of a maximum of 15 people.
For students from Sofia region, a rotation principle of education is introduced as follows:
For the period from 12.10.2021 to 17.10.2021, classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 and 12 classes are taught in person, and classes 5, 6, 9, 10 and 11 classes are transferred to Training from distance in electronic environment;
For the period from 18.10.2021 to 24.10.2021, classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 10 classes are taught in person, and classes 6, 8, 9, 11 and 12 classes are transferred to Training from distance in electronic environment.
Kindergartens and nurseries are open, working in strict compliance with anti-epidemic measures.
Playgrounds and parks are open with a special mode of visit – keeping distance and avoiding crowds;
The group tourist trips with organized transport from Sofia region are suspended.
Visits / visits to medical establishments are suspended. Only exceptions are allowed in some situations (terminally ill, at the discretion of the director of the medical institution and specific measures introduced, etc.).
