Locatelli, with G7 Inclusion history puts a point

(ANSA) – ASSISI (PERUGIA), OCTOBER 14 – “Today history marks a point after which we will no longer have to go back, we will not go back because we are all here together. History gives people a new opportunity”: Minister Alessandra Locatelli thus presented the G7 Inclusion and Disability, welcoming all the delegations from the stage set up in Piazza San Francesco, in Assisi. He then recalled the presence of the highest institutions representing the economic powers of the planet, the ministers, the world of associations and families, the territory, “all those who want to contribute to making people’s lives better, not just those with disabilities but of all”. “This – said the minister – is a G7 which is called inclusion and disability but for the first time in history it talks about people. As governments we often find ourselves talking about transport, environment, culture and tourism but if we don’t talk about people, if we don’t put them first then we can’t do well and we weaken ourselves.
