Patinage Baie-Comeau sent seven girls to the Invitation Sainte-Julie competition, which was held last weekend. An athlete from the club was also in action in Baie-Saint-Paul.
Evelyne Savard took part in the Invitation Benoît Lavoie competition, in the novice ladies category. She concluded the event with a fine third place, good for the bronze medal.
To return to Sainte-Julie, in the Sans Limite under 10, Klara Simard collected gold, as did Alycia Paquet (Star 5-13), as well as Anaïs Gauthier and Laurence Gagnon (Star 7).
Anaïs Gauthier did it again with gold in the Star 6, where her teammate Mégane Gravel took the silver medal. Laurence Gagnon took fifth place in this same category.
As for the other participants from Patinage Baie-Comeau, Léa-Jade Desbiens and Éliane Martel, they both earned a bronze ribbon in the Star 3.
