The Coachella music festival is just a few days away and among the artists featured this year is a young Mexican who grew up here in the Coachella Valley.
DannyLux is taking the music world by storm.
The 19-year-old has captured the attention of millions on Instagram, Tik Tok, and Spotify.
His most recent musical work “Lost without You” has been placed in the highest positions of the Apple Music billboard.
And with shows in Mexico and the United States, DannyLux tells us that he still finds it hard to believe what he is experiencing.
“I am so grateful because I really did not see myself doing anything else and just that everything is going well and little by little we are going up it is like my prayers have been heard,” said DannyLux
In a few days Danny Lux will sing his songs with alternative sounds from Sierra at the Coachella music festival.
Not only will it be the first presentation, but it is the first time he has attended the event.
And it will also be one of the few times that he has sung in the region where he grew up.
“It honestly feels like an honor just to be there playing in front of all the people to be able to convey all those vibes that we want to convey and it honestly feels like a blessing,” said DannyLux.
Daniel Balderrama was educated at Desert Hot Springs and comes from Mexican immigrant parents.
At the age of 7, his father gave him a guitar that he found while working collecting garbage.
“I fell in love with the guitar and I begged my mom to get me into guitar lessons and that’s when she put me in the church leader’s choir and he taught me all the basics and then every Sunday I was in church playing and everything. that happened there in Desert Hot Springs,” said DannyLux
Soon after, he started writing music and during the height of the pandemic he posted videos on tik tok.
Slowly her videos exploded and the doors of opportunity began to open.
“You always have to be patient, I always say always be unique and never lose motivation,” said the young man.
As it’s his turn to sing at the coachella fest, Danny shares that he’s been practicing every day to deliver his best version.
And he says it’s just the beginning of what’s next.
“My dad worked at a company that picked up the trash and that company also picked up the trash at Coachella and it’s something nice that I’m going to take my dad and he’s going to be backstage,” DannyLux said.
The young star tells us that in May she will release her third musical work with which she hopes to be able to visit more cities.
