The Ensdorf town council had plenty to do in its February meeting. The agenda was long. In his report on the local audit of the annual accounts for the 2019 financial year, the new nursery building and the renovation of the DJK sports grounds were examined and no discrepancies were found, emphasized the Chairman of the Audit Committee, Markus Färber. He praised the work of chamberlain Brigitte Zitzler and the municipal administration and recommended that the annual accounts be discharged, which was then carried out. The councils also had no objection to the preliminary construction request for new residential buildings in Oberbernstein 3 and the hearing of the government of Upper Franconia in accordance with mining law for the framework operating plan for the construction and operation of the “Pittersberg” processing plant in the municipality of Ebermannsdorf owned by Freihölser Sand GmbH.
Since water pipes in Seulohe partially run over private properties and these and shut-off valves are old-fashioned, the water pipe is being relocated into public land. The contract for this was awarded to the cheapest bidder, Bauunternehmung Pichl GmbH from Freudenberg, for 69,405 euros.
A new wastewater / sewer cadastre is to be created in the geographic information system for the municipality of Ensdorf. After the preparatory work has progressed so far, the pipes can now be flushed themselves and driven over with the camera. This data is then entered into the cadastre. The economically cheapest company Kuchler GmbH from Munich received the order for EUR 98 594.
In his announcements, Mayor Hans Ram informed that the monument protection authorities had approved the painting of the facade on the north side of the Wittelbacher Saal. Since it is a storm damage, the insurance covers the costs. In the future, the community will share the costs for the senior citizen’s bus with the community of Ebermannsdorf, so that Ensdorf now accounts for an amount of 2700 euros. Georg Kirchberger asked if he could donate a statue of the Virgin Mary for the Lourdes Chapel on Schwandorfer Strasse.
