After working as a shoe designer for Charles Jourdan, Robert Clergerie, Pataugas or Palladium, Sabine Chenot returned to her love for materials and manual leather work several years ago by launching her own brand. Today, she makes herself bracelets in iridescent double or triple wrap leather, bespoke relief-printed glasses case or chic shagreen pouch from scraps of leather from luxury houses. It was in 2017 that Sandra Andrea, then living in Uganda, had the idea of creating a shoe brand highlighting super graphic wax fabrics. Back in the Basque Country, she began working with a workshop in Mauléon-Licharre, the espadrille capital, in order to be able to produce locally and by hand responsible and committed shoes that were as urban as they were colorful.
