The Citizen Council for Security and Justice of Mexico City identified at least 130 alleged financial companies that have been reported for fraud and extortion through loans offered by applications.
“The most common months for these scams are January and February, because people are worn out by the end of the year holidays and are looking for credits,” explains Salvador Guerrero, president of the organization. Between June 2021 and so far this year, the Council has documented 2,231 reports of fraud and doxing in loans through applications. For free legal support, call 5555335533. (Chilango)
