At VietinBank, a credit program with a total value of $425.5 million has been implemented for loans with a term of up to six months from the date to the coming June 30.

The wave of lowering interest rates on loans has also spread to other banks, such as Ban Viet Bank (Viet Capital Bank), Phuong Dong Bank (OCB), Sai Gon Thuong Tin Bank (Sacombank), Industry and Commerce of Vietnam (Techcombank), the Military Bank (MB), among others.

According to Nguyen Huu Trung, Acting Director General of Thuong Tin Bank (Vietbank), as businesses are currently facing difficulties in the face of declining orders, the interest rate will have a significant impact on business business activities.

Therefore, banks should accompany and draw up suitable policies to help enterprises overcome their difficulties, Huu Trung stressed.
