Loading times GTA Online ‘fixed’ & leaked Elden Ring trailer

JJ and Daan are ready for a brand new edition of the GK Journaal. Because although the week has only just started, we have already managed to find some great news together. And that of course deserves to be discussed. Our presentation duo will talk about Need for Speed, the leaked Elder Ring trailer, Horizon Forbidden West, Bungiecon and the loading times of GTA Online. Actually, those are all pretty big names.

The Elden Ring trailer: real or fake?

It has been quiet for a while around the upcoming game of FromSoftware: Elden Ring. Whenever you think that big substantial news around the game would come out, you got disappointed because nothing came other than ‘we’re working on it’. But it now seems that this silence will soon be broken. A trailer has leaked on the internet and that should be FromSoftware’s latest game. A game in which they collaborate with A Song of Ice and Fire writer: George RR Martin. But is the leaked trailer actually Elden Ring? Or can we speak here of a good fake?

Loading times GTA Online & new Battlefield is (slowly) coming

For a long time we got a new Need for Speed game every two years. In 2013 we received: Rivals, in 2015: Need for Speed, in 2017: Payback and in 2019 Heat. But this practice now seems to be discontinued. Criterion, developer of games such as Most Wanted, Rivals and co-developer of games such as Star Wars Battlefront II, have been removed by EA from the new Need for Speed and temporarily put on the production of the new Battlefield game. While this may be a shame for the Need for Speed fans among us, with the purchase of Codemasters there will certainly EA race games out to fill this void. But why did EA suddenly make this move. Daan and JJ explain it in the GK Journaal on Tuesday 2 March.
