TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Investor Lo Kheng Hong admits he prefers to be an investor rather than a trader. As value investor in the capital market, he stated that he could earn far greater profits than doing trading.
“I’ve always been value investorno trading. Because if we trading, for which we get a dime. However, if we buy and save, we holdwill get big money,” said Lo Kheng Hong in launching a book and talk show with Lo Kheng Hong, Saturday, April 23, 2022.
The man who is familiarly called Pak Lo explained, practice buying and store stocks in the long term will make investors rich. On the other hand, if someone did tradingespecially scalpingwill only enrich the securities.
“If buy and hold, we will be rich. But if we tradingespecially scalpingwhich is rich in securities,” said Mr. Lo.
Lo Kheng Hong then told how in the early years of entering the capital market, he always failed. Moreover, 30 years ago there was a policy tight money policy which makes stock prices go down.
This policy caused Lo Kheng Hong’s investment in the capital market for the first three years to continue to lose money. “It’s Finally 1993 tight money policy it was released, loosened, stock prices went up and I made a big profit,” he said.
