Lo Kheng Hong Opens Up About His Choice of Stocks in 2022: Banks, CPO, Coal

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Stock investors Lo Kheng Hong or who is often dubbed the Indonesian version of Warren Buffett, is open to the stocks he champions in 2022.

He mentioned share from the conventional banking sector, coal and crude palm oil or CPO are still the choices. He blatantly stated no interested in collecting digital banking stocks.

The reason, according to Mr. Lo, is that many conventional bank shares are attractive with a book value or PBV (price to book value) below 1 time and a PER (price earning ratio) below 10 times. The condition of the shares of conventional banks is also different from digital banks with very expensive valuations, small assets, and maybe some of them have not recorded profits.

“I’m not at all interested in bank digital and technology because the assets are small and the valuation is very expensive,” said Lo Kheng Hong, Wednesday, December 16, 2021.

Specifically, Lo Kheng Hong admitted that he really likes the shares of banks with large assets such as Bank Danamon, Bank CIMB Niaga, and BNI. Currently, these shares are valued at low prices.
