Daumants Liepiņi magazine “Pianist” has recognized it as one of the four young pianists, which is warmly recommended to follow in 2020.

Latvian spectators will have such an opportunity at the opening concert of the LNSO season, where Liepiņš will dazzle by interpreting Prokofiev’s Second Piano Concerto – a work full of wild temperament, which is still considered one of the most virtuoso piano concerts in the history of music. Alongside this is Scriabin’s suggestive Second Symphony, which fascinates with long-lasting mysticism and ecstatic beauty. The unknown size will be the new work “Flashing. Bonding” by Linda Leiman, a mysterious, intriguing and French subtlety resident LNSO. The concert will be conducted by Andris Poga.
