LM handball players: Łomża Vive Kielce won again

Although the Polish champion started the competition with a positive accent in the form of a 1-0 goal, the beginning of the match was not particularly successful in his performance. A moment later, Lovro Jotić scored 1: 1, and shortly after that it was 3: 1 on the scoreboard after another goal by the Croat.

The situation could have become even more complicated when Nicolas Tournat came down on penalty, but fortunately the Vardar player also committed a foul and the forces on the field became even, and the result was still within the limits of the loss of three goals from the visitors – 2: 5, 3: 6, 4: 7. However, three good actions by our team in a row led to a 7: 7 draw. Igor Karacić flashed in them, using a penalty kick, vigilantly defending Andreas Wolff, as well as Tournat and Fernandez Perez in the attack.

The first lead of the Kielce inhabitants took place after an effective action by Alex Duyshebaev. The same player was the hero of this part of the match, as he also threw another goal at 12:10. Later, players of Talant Duyshebayev took advantage of the momentary weakening of their rivals, keeping the two-goal distance, and at the halfway point Vive was leading with three goals – 16:13.

An important moment of the match from the perspective of our representatives was the goal of the Pole who played for the Bulgarian team. Patryk Walczak reduced the losses of the hosts at the beginning of the second half, and a few minutes later the former player of the Kielce team contributed significantly to the fact that Vardar led to a draw 21:21.

It was a bad moment for Łomża Vive – Tournat’s two missed attempts and two technical mistakes made the Skopje handball players take the lead 22:21. In difficult moments, however, one could count on Duyshebayev, who scored twice in a row and thus again allowed the Kielce team to be in the front.

Then the Polish team survived Gębala’s two-minute exclusion, and a moment later they also managed to defend themselves well after a foul by Arkadiusz Moryto. Ten minutes before the end of the regular game time, Kielce was leading by 26:24. From that moment on, the players from Kielce did not allow their rivals too much and they controlled the course of the meeting with a 33:29 victory, which allowed the Polish champions to return to the top of the group A table.
