Although “NCIS: Los Angeles” ended after its 14th season, a familiar face will continue to investigate for an NCIS team, as Sam Hanna aka LL Cool J is moving to “NCIS: Hawai’i” and will be involved there from the third season onwards.
LL Cool J (aka Todd Smith) will not have to look for a new job, because after 14 seasons as Sam Hanna in “NCIS: Los Angeles” he will simply continue to play this role as a recurring guest star in the third season of the sister series “NCIS: Hawaii“ He made a cameo appearance in the second season finale, just one day after the series finale of the LA spin-off hit US screens. In the finale of the Hawaii Investigators, Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey) was fleeing from some of the lackeys of Adrian Creel (Jay Ali), who had returned from the dead. Then a shot from a sniper rifle was heard, which hit the attackers of Tennant and Whistler (Tori Anderson).
