“Livu Aquapark’s Turnover Bounces Back After Covid-19 Pandemic Restrictions”

After the turnover of SIA “Akvaparks”, which owns “Līvu Akvaparks”, decreased significantly as a result of the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic, it increased significantly last year, exceeding the pre-pandemic result, informs “Lursoft Klientu portfolio”.

If in 2019 SIA “Akvaparks” had a turnover of 4.57 million euros, then a year later the indicator decreased to 2.75 million euros, and in 2021 – to 0.65 million euros.

The latest annual report shows that in 2022 SIA “Akvaparks” increased its turnover to EUR 5.16 million, of which EUR 0.63 million is state aid. The company’s profit has also grown significantly, reaching 2.16 million euros. This has allowed the company to restore its equity to the level of the share capital after the losses of 2021.

The submitted management report states that 194.4 thousand people visited “Livu Aquapark” in 2022, which is 5.5 times more than in 2021, but 15% less than in 2019. The company employed 53 employees last year.

The data of “Lursoft” show that the largest shareholder of SIA “Akvaparks” is SIA “Korporatīvā sabiedrība”, which, in turn, belongs to Pēteris Šmidre.
