The businessman Liviu Necşulescu together with his son, Claudiu, formed an empire known at national and international level. The winery stretches on the hills around Jidvei, Blaj, Cetatea de Baltă and Sânmiclăuş, and the famous wine varieties are produced from grapes harvested on no less than 2,500 hectares of vines.
After 20 years of investment, refurbishment and modernization, Jidvei means a unique vineyard in Europe, being on the world map of wines. Currently, Claudiu Necşulescu and his daughters manage everything that means Jidvei, the locality located in an area with an altitude of about 500 meters being the favorable environment for the cultivation of vines.

The man sanctifies the place
It can make him better, more beautiful, brighter as his thoughts are, as his deeds are, as his soul is. It makes it better, first of all, for others, by sharing with them a piece of the world, a milder time of the time we are given to spend together here on earth. The people who sanctify the place never leave, they always remain young in the living memory of those who had the privilege of meeting them and of having marked their passage through this life through simple, natural gestures, full of generosity and beauty.
So how do we say goodbye to such a man? How do we reward what is impossible to reward, because goodness, humanity, decency, generosity, the nobility of the soul are a reward in itself …
Mr. Liviu Necşulescu, the indefatigable “Mr. Liviu” as we all know him who had the joy of knowing or meeting him, left us for more serene views, on a day with a gentle spring sun.
A righteous, tireless man, with an incredible zest for life and a rare energy and, especially, with a warm and gentle soul, a good man “like the bread of God”, as they say in Transylvania, among the people of the places who they have become so dear to him and have been “at home” with him for the last twenty years. Places that, we dare say, he sanctified by his acts full of kindness, by honesty and generosity, by hard work, by determination and vision, but especially by the endless effort to make every day a better tomorrow for the people among whom he always felt so good and the love and gratitude he always enjoyed.
Above all, for Mr. Liviu Necşulescu the most important was the family from which he instilled that nobility of soul and solid facts and values - fairness, loyalty, respect, generosity – all doubled by care, love and faith in God.
He knew how to bring people together, to keep them close, to give them reasons to always look with confidence and hope to tomorrow.
Looking at everything he has built, at the people he greets with eyes full of light and joy, with arms and souls wide open, we know that we are not wrong when we say: The people who sanctify the place never leave, they remain with us with all the beauty of their good soul, which will continue to bear fruit in time and over time.
