Liverpool won sweet results in trial matches. The Reds beat the team from the Bundesliga, Darmstadtwith a score of 3-1.
Liverpool vs Darmstadt takes place at Deepdale Stadium, Tuesday (8/8/2023) in the morning WIB. This is the Reds’ first trial after completing the pre-season event outside England.
Liverpool immediately stepped on the gas at the start of the match by leading 1-0. Mohamed Salah scored in the fifth minute after taking advantage of a corner from Dominik Szoboszlai.
The score became 2-0 to Liverpool in the eighth minute. Salah managed to snatch the ball from the feet of the opposing players and then when in the penalty box he released a hook which was completed by Diogo Jota.
Darmstadt did not want to sit idly by after conceding two goals quickly. Mathias Honsak then tore Alisson Becker’s goal in the 10th minute to reduce the score to 1-2.
There were no additional goals during the first half. The 2-1 score lasted for Liverpool until halftime.
Liverpool enlarge the advantage to 3-1 in the second half or to be precise in the 59th minute. Luis Diaz scored a stunning goal after latching on to a corner from a backheel.
Liverpool also successfully closed the game with a win. This result is a positive signal before starting the 2023/2024 Premier League against Chelsea.
