Gary Neville assesses the competition between Man City and Liverpool in the rest of the season can be determined by the attack line of each team. According to him, Liverpool have the upper hand in this sector.
Neville thinks Liverpool have a sharper attacking lineup with a lot of talent. He highlighted Liverpool’s depth up front.
“City are at the top of the table, but they haven’t scored four times. Liverpool have only failed to score once,” Neville said as reported by Reuters. Sky Sports.
“Could that be the difference? Of course. Both teams are at the highest level so you talk about what could be the difference.”
“Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are all at Liverpool and they will score goals. City are a brilliant team and can still win the league, but that could make the difference.”
“Liverpool are really dangerous. I see the five strikers they have. They go into the latter part of the season knowing they can win games with all five. City don’t have the same luxury in attack,” said Neville.
