Brighton from the start set a high price for Moises Caicedo. Brighton has repeatedly turned down offers from Chelsea, as have other clubs. Brighton are seeking a £100 million ransom for Caicedo.
Before the madness of the night, Chelsea’s most expensive bid was £80 million. Brighton refused.
On Thursday (10/8/2023) local time, Liverpool entered the hunt for Caicedo. Brighton took advantage of this situation well. They sent a message to Chelsea and Liverpool: the highest bid will be accepted.
Chelsea raised their bid to £100 million. Per Brighton’s request. Then, on Friday (11/8/2023) in the morning local time, Liverpool made an offer of £ 110 million. Liverpool win the Caicedo transfer saga!

Moises Caicedo’s transfer saga is going very well. Fabrizio Romano reports that Liverpool made their final offer on Friday (11/8/2023) at 02.29 in the morning. Liverpool do not want to miss a lot of time.
Liverpool are continuing to work on completing Caicedo’s transfer documents. The Reds don’t want any other maneuvers that will prevent them from bringing Caicedo to Anfield. Currently, they are arranging a medical test schedule for Caicedo.
A personal agreement has been reached between Caicedo and Liverpool. There should be no problems and players from Ecuador will come to Anfield.
