Dominik Szoboszlai joined Liverpool this summer from RB Leipzig. He was redeemed by the Reds for a transfer value of 60 million euros.
Szoboszlai immediately became the mainstay of Liverpool’s midfield. He appeared regularly by scoring two goals and two assists in 14 matches in all competitions.

Even though Szoboszlai’s adaptation at Liverpool seems to be going smoothly, it turns out there are still several obstacles he has to overcome in living his new life in England. Loneliness is one of the problems that this Hungarian midfielder has to deal with in England.
Fortunately, this did not affect Szoboszlai’s performance with Liverpool. He remains able to focus on his goal, namely to provide the best for Liverpool.
“I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel lonely sometimes,” Szoboszlai said on the Hungarian Premier Leak podcast.
“There are days when I just sit on the sofa wondering what to do. Then I put on a movie and try to fall asleep, looking forward to tomorrow,” he explained.
Szoboszlai now wants to play every match for Liverpool. To make this happen, he continues to try to maintain his condition so that he is always ready to perform.
“Personally, I want to play in every match, even if I’m a little tired. Anything, whether it’s the FA Cup, League Cup, Europa League, Premier League, national team, whatever,” added Szoboszlai.
“I am in good condition when I am always needed, I am in the best condition when I can play on Thursday and Sunday.
