In the 35th minute of the game between Liverpool and Arsenal (1-1), Kostas Tsimikas suffered a serious injury when, after being pushed by Bukayo Sako, he collided with his coach Jurgen Klopp.
The Greek did not fall in the best way and ended up breaking his collarbone, as the Reds’ coach confirmed after the match, speaking to Sky Sports: «About Kostas Tsimikas’ collarbone, it is definitely broken, so he will be out for a long time.”
“I didn’t have any pain, but I thought maybe Kostas would be fine. I would gladly give my collarbone to get him back in shape,” added Klopp.
Tsimikas was taken to hospital and left Liverpool without any left back available, as Andrew Robertson is also injured (shoulder). Against Arsenal, Joe Gomez surrendered the Greek and adapted to the position.
