Liverpool finally securing a ticket to the last 16 of the Champions League. With one match remaining, it can be used by the main squad to rest.

Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson admitted that he was happy that his team was able to lock up tickets to the last 16 of the Champions League. So in the last match, the main squad can rest.
“That’s very good, because we can have time to rest,” he said as quoted by the official website UEFA.
No doubt, Liverpool’s schedule is packed. Must compete at the weekend in the Premier League, plus midweek in the Champions League.
It was caused by a pandemic that had caused it hope competition at the end of the 2019/2020 season yesterday. The impact is this season, so the competition schedule must be tight.

Center-back Virgil Van Dijk, goalkeeper Alisson, midfielders Thiago Alcanntara and Naby Keita and right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold had to enter the treatment room. Plus some coating players like James Milner also just suffered injuries at the weekend.
Liverpool also have to keep track of the top English Premier League. They are currently in second place in the standings, below Tottenham Hotspur, who are on the same points but lost on goal difference. Chelsea in third place with a thin point difference will continue to stick tight.
“We also have to work hard, the power of young players is also very much needed,” concluded Jordan Henderson.
