In that position Coady appeared steady with 317 appearances and contributed seven goals and seven assists. He had a hand in getting Wolverhampton to the Premier League in the 2018/2019 season.

However, Coady’s career with Wolverhampton ended this season. He wanted to find a new challenge and accepted the offer of Everton who needed a new defender because many of his players were injured.

Coady was on loan for a year with a permanent option at the end of the season. The 29-year-old defender has been officially introduced as a player for The Toffees, Tuesday (9/8/2022) early morning WIB with the jersey numbered 30.

Coady’s move is definitely surprising because he is a graduate of Liverpool’s academy and is known to still be loyal to support the Reds to this day. But, as a professional player, Coady will defend the team he strengthens desperately.

Conor Coady brought to Everton by director of football Kevin Thelwell, who signed him at Wolverhampton in 2015.

“It’s amazing to join Everton. Shortly after hearing their interest, from the manager and also the club itself, I immediately wanted to join. I am very happy,” said Coady on the club’s official website.

“I grew up in this city, I know the club, how big it is and what it means to the fans. I really wanted to move here, play for this club. I have a lot of friends and family who are huge Everton fans,” he continued. .

“I will do my best for this club. It is important to work hard so that I can help my team-mates, help this club develop and make people proud.”
