On Wednesday, Liverpool took on Chelsea at home at Anfield in the Premier League, and got a tasty start in the big meeting. In the 23rd minute Diogo Jota made it 1-0, and 16 minutes later it was time for a young talent to introduce himself.
20-year-old right-back Conor Bradley, making his 14th first-team appearance, bagged his first goal, making it 2-0 with a distinctive finish.
Just before half-time, Darwin Nunez also had a chance to extend from the penalty spot, but burned the opportunity. It didn’t do much for Jürgen Klopp’s men in the end.
Liverpool eventually won 4-1 after further goals from Dominik Szoboszlai and Luis Diaz, while Christopher Nkunku netted for Chelsea.
Liverpool top the table, while Chelsea are in tenth place in the Premier League.
