Dejan Lovren released a photo taken with Virgil Van Dyke through social media on the 17th (Korean time).
Lovren said,’It was nice to meet my ex-colleague Van Dyke today. He was seriously injured, but he looked stronger than ever. He cheered for Van Dyke’s quick recovery, saying, “Brother, I’ll be able to go back to the top position.”
Van Dyke suffered a cruciate ligament injury in a match against Everton in the 5th round of the Premier League in the 2020/21 season, which took place last October, and is committed to rehabilitation.
Van Dyke is currently working on knee rehabilitation at a runnyeon center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Lovren left Liverpool at the end of last season and transferred to the Russian Premier League Zenit. The Russian Premier League has entered the winter break after the December schedule.
