Liverpool moved level on points with Tottenham Hotspur at the top of the Premier League with a convincing 4-0 win over Wolves at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp’s side took the lead in the 24th minute of the match, with Mohamed Salah profiting from Conor Coady’s error to slide the ball past Rui Patricio.
Wolves were then awarded a penalty when Coady went down under the challenge of Fabinho but, after looking at the incident on the pitchside monitor, referee Craig Pawson changed his mind and the decision was reversed.
In the second half, the hosts extended their lead to two through Georginio Wijnaldum and to three via Joel Matip.
Former Barcelona defender Nelson Semedo put Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross into his own net to complete the scoring.
