The lively garden party took place at rocker Petr Janda (81), who welcomed his guests in a colorful poncho and sombrero. The theme of the event was Mexico. Some chose only a Mexican accessory for their classic outfits, while others flaunted the entire costume, for example the host’s daughter Marta Jandová (49).
Petr Janda, as the organizer of the Mexican party, enjoyed the whole event with a guitar or a beer in hand. “I asked my wife to pick out a poncho for me, and I got the hat from Marta,” the Olympic frontman told the newspaper lightning. Marta Jandová, who has already visited Mexico several times, chose the disguise of the local painter Frida Kahlo and did not miss the typical fused eyebrows.
“I even took a brush, but some people didn’t recognize me,” lamented Marta Jandová to Bleska. Perhaps, in addition to thick eyebrows, a mustache was also missing, which is also iconic for the painter. “There are a lot of photographers here. If the photos were used in a few years, everyone would say that Jandová already had a mustache back then. People are mean, so I just did my eyebrows,” explained the singer.

Other women at the garden party were also inspired by Frida, or at least by her clothes. And some simply gave only to their own feelings. The host’s wife Alice Jandová (41), according to her, she chose a costume that was primarily very colorful. “I didn’t impersonate anyone famous, I’m some Mexican village girl,” she described her disguise. However, during the event, she also had her face painted and turned into a well-known Mexican symbol – a beautiful and creepy female skeleton in clothes and make-up called La Calavera Catrina. Even Alice Jandová has a warm relationship with Mexico.
You can see some of the other participants of the Mexican party in the gallery. Dominik Hašek, who arrived with his partner Lenka and son Honzík (21 months), hid under a large sombrero. Heart surgeon Jan Pirk (75) also had fun among the guests. The straw hat was put on by Felix Slováček (80), who had his picture taken alongside former Miss Jana Doleželová (42). Jakub Kohák (48) also showed up in a matching poncho and straw hat.
