This week, Mayor Zdeněk Hřib (Pirates) said that the disease in Prague does not look good and will be red at the traffic light. Already on Friday, some other emergency measures began to apply in the capital.
Visits to hospitals and other medical facilities or social services are prohibited throughout the month. On Monday, a regulation of the Prague Hygiene Station will come into force, which obliges people to wear drapes at outdoor events with the participation of more than 100 people.
Colleges should also be temporarily closed during the next week, with students moving to distance learning. Initially, the mayor announced that high school students would also stay at home, but immediately withdrew it, stating that the hygienist did not agree.
