British intelligence says Russia takes ‘heavy toll’ in Ukraine
In its daily update posted on Twitter, British intelligence spoke of the significant material losses suffered by Russia in Ukraine.
“At least one T-90M, Russia’s most advanced tank, was destroyed in combat. The T-90M was introduced in 2016 and features reinforced armor, an improved gun and efficient satellite navigation systems,” says the press release.
Moreover, “the conflict in Ukraine takes a heavy toll on the most advanced equipment. It will take considerable time as well as large sums of money for Russia to be able to reconstitute its army after the conflict”, declare intelligence services.

UN Security Council statement on Ukraine does not mention ‘war’, ‘conflict’ or ‘invasion’
This Friday, the UN Security Council issued its first statement regarding the war in Ukraine, without however mentioning the terms “war”, “conflict” or “invasion”.
The text refers to the Council’s “deep concern for the maintenance of peace and security in Ukraine”.
Then to specify that “all Member States are committed, under the Charter of the United Nations, to the obligation to settle their international disputes by peaceful means”.

Azovstal: new evacuations expected this Saturday
This Friday, 50 civilians were evacuated thanks to a new humanitarian convoy on Friday from the huge Azovstal factory, the last pocket of resistance of Ukrainian forces in Mariupol, a port city besieged by Russian troops, announced Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
“Today we managed to get 50 women, children and elderly people out of Azovstal. Tomorrow morning we will continue the evacuation operation,” Iryna Vereshchuk announced on Telegram on Friday.
The Russian Ministry of Defense specified for its part that eleven children, out of these fifty civilians, had been evacuated.
