More than a thousand young people and students are on the streets in Bucharest University Square, Thursday night, for the fourth day in a row. They shout messages both against Călin Georgescu and against the Constitutional Court after the decision to recount the votes. It should be noted that banners appeared with messages against the secret services. This is the first in the history of Western protests in Romania. Since Monday, thousands of young people from several cities of the country have come out for demonstrations, worried about the fact that almost 23% of the voters chose a pro-Russian candidate in the first round of the presidential elections, with legionary and anti-EU and anti-EU-NATO messages.

Students began gathering in the Square around 7:00 pm. Edupedu.ro released the information from the reporter on the spot, as well as videos and photos in real time.

“Researcher in Romania – I defend democracy”, is the message on the placard of a young woman. “Democracy. Science = freedom, truth”, said another young man on the placard he brought to the protest. “No fascism, no war, no Georgescu in the 2nd round!”, “People are telling you in chorus: the vote for a dictator”, the people would say.
