F1 returns this weekend to contest the sixth round of the season in Miami.
A year 2024 largely dominated by Max Verstappen, which continues its momentum from 2023. It’s quite simple, the Dutchman has won four of the five Grands Prix contested so far. Quite impressive statistics, and yet the Hasselt native does better on Saturdays.
The Red Bull driver has in fact taken pole at all the Grands Prix this season and will therefore aim for a sixth best time in qualifying this Saturday in Florida. If he were to do so, the son of If would sign a seventh pole in a row after the one gleaned in Abu Dhabi at the end of last season. The Dutchman in any case arrives with confidence after winning the course sprint Earlier in the day.
But the Ferraris, the McLarens or even the other Red Bull of Sergio Perez will logically want to stop the series. Will they succeed? Response this Saturday from 9:55 p.m. on RTBF media.
