There will be no racing in Formula 1 this weekend, but that doesn’t mean that Max Verstappen sit still. The Dutchman will simply take action this weekend during the virtual edition of ‘Little Le Mans’.
Petit le Mans is a ten-hour endurance race that has been held annually since 1998. The name probably suggests that it is a shortened version of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but that is not the case. Petit Le Mans is held on the Road Atlanta circuit in the US state of Georgia. The set-up of this race is largely the same as the rules of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, hence the name.
Virtual Petit le Mans
This weekend the virtual variant of this race will be organized by iRacing, one of the most realistic sim games currently available. Verstappen is a big fan of the program and regularly races with it. The Dutchman will be in action this weekend with Team Redline, where he has Diogo Pinto as a teammate. The ten-hour race will start at 2:30 PM Dutch time and can be followed via the video below.
