Anger in Haarlem after ‘blunder’ with ‘extreme’ city poet: ‘Our city is stuck’
26 septemberIn Haarlem politics great outrage has arisen about the issue with Darryl Danchelo Osenga, the city poet who was fired after two days because of a large series of violent messages on Twitter. VVD and Forum for Democracy argue that there has been blunders around the nomination of the city poet and demand clarification from the college. “I am furious, the reputation of our city has been tainted”, Louise van Zetten (Hart van Haarlem) tells this site.
