Live text broadcast – short and concise about the most important things in the Ukrainian war on June 30. Ukraine has been heroically defending its land against the aggressor’s invasion for more than a year.
07:00. President Volodymyr Zelenskyi will personally come to the North Atlantic Alliance summit in Vilnius only if the outcome of the summit is expected to be acceptable to Ukraine, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine and Zelenskyi’s diplomatic adviser Ihor Zhovkva told Reuters.
Asked what the minimum conditions are for Zelensky’s presence at the NATO summit, Zhovkva referred to his speech in parliament, in which the head of state of Ukraine spoke about the importance of courage in the modern world. “The president will not go (..) to the summit if the leaders are in a mood to show off or show a lack of courage while Ukraine is fighting against Russian aggression with all its courage, will and strength and high fighting spirit,” he said.
Zhovkva added that there is “no sense and no time” for the Ukrainian president to go to the summit in Vilnius if “there will be no result”. According to Zelensky’s adviser, Ukraine is now closer to receiving an invitation to join than six months ago.
00:10. Ukraine has received almost 890 million US dollars intended to be used to support the war, reports pravda.com.ua.
