Russia will impose sanctions on more than 300 members of the lower and upper houses of the Russian parliament over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The European Union and the seven most industrialized countries, the G7, have been consulted on sanctions by The Wall Street Journal. They will be officially announced on Thursday after President Joe Biden arrives in the Belgian capital, Brussels.

Washington currently restricts restrictions to only 12 members, unlike the European Union’s 351 members of the Russian State Duma, which voted to recognize the so-called “People’s Republics” of Donetsk and Luhansk.

Meanwhile, policy experts point out that sanctions against certain individuals are easier than sanctions against their own companies. For example, the Czech media reports that 66 local companies may be linked to Russian citizens subject to US and EU sanctions. Among them are the construction services company Strabag and the nuclear power plant technology company Škoda JS.

The European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites has stopped providing meteorological information to Russia, as it may be important for planning a chemical attack in Ukraine. This is reported by the British news agency Reuters.

The United States and allies have previously warned that Moscow could plan to use chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine. Armaments experts said data that included wind speed and direction measurements, sunlight, precipitation and other factors could be crucial to planning such an attack.

Belarusian armed forces may be involved in the war against Ukraine, but Belarusian soldiers are massively refusing to take part in the war, citing the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense’s intelligence on the Russian invasion, Ukrinform reported.

However, Belarus’s military and political leadership continues to provide comprehensive support to Russian troops, allowing them to use the airfield and transport network, as well as individual health facilities. Thus, the Belarussian leadership is an accomplice in crimes against the Ukrainian people. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has announced that an invasion from Belarus in the direction of Volyn is possible, but the defenders of Ukraine are ready to counteract.

At the same time, an echelon of military equipment began to move to the Ukrainian border in Belarus on Tuesday evening. This was announced by the Belarusian Railway Union. It has been noticed that the echelon has five jet fire systems “Grad”, more than 15 trucks “Ural” and tracked combat equipment without signs.

NATO believes that Belarus could get involved in the Russian war in Ukraine in the near future. It was reported by CNN on Monday, referring to US and NATO officials. A source in the Belarusian opposition revealed that Belarusian combat units are ready to enter Ukraine in the next few days and that thousands of troops have been prepared to be sent to Ukraine.
