In the last 24 hours, 327 deaths have been reported in Belgium as a result of the corona virus. The authorities announced this on Saturday at their daily press conference. This brings the total number of deaths from the coronavirus in Belgium to 3346.
The number of deaths rose slightly again on Saturday after Friday’s 325. 421 new corona patients were admitted to the hospital, while 418 were allowed to leave the hospital. This brings the total number of patients admitted to 5635.
In the intensive care units, there is a slight drop in the number of patients, by another 1,262, 16 fewer than Friday. Exactly 981 people are ventilated, or 12 less than the previous day.
