Live shark washes up on Ouddorp beach | Inland

The animal was put back into the sea several times on Saturday, but kept swimming back to the coast. In consultation with Diergaarde Blijdorp, the animal has now been transferred to the Rotterdam zoo. There the animal will be cared for.

The Rescue Team has informed Rijnmond that the shark has now been transferred by dolphin box. The Ouddorp rescue brigade was able to provide assistance by lending out an oxygen bottle: this way the shark could get oxygen during the ride.
