The Formulas E, or Electric Formula, has brought motorsport into a new era since the beginning of the 2010s. The competition has met with certain success since since its creation, it has succeeded in attracting many manufacturers such as Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, DS, Nissan, Jaguar, and private ones such as Mahindra, Geox or Virgin Racing.
As for the drivers, it is also remarkable, since there are several big names, such as Sébastien Buemi, double winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in title, André Lotterer (3 times winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans), the French Jean-Éric Vergne, former Formula 1 driver and double champion, Stoffel Vandoorne or more recently, Nick se Vries, reigning Formula 2 champion.
The races take place only in the city, and notably pass through New York, Rome, Berlin or Paris. The 2020-2021 season will feature 14 ePrixes.
