Never before have there been so many participants in a €500 + 50 Main Event of the Casinos Austria Poker Tour (CAPT) Salzburg. A new record was set this year with 318 entries, and €159,000 in prize money awaits the players. Chip leader in the final is Adi Rajkovic.

With 150 entries, day 1A already promised that the €100,000 prize money guarantee would be significantly exceeded. Day 1B did not disappoint and with 148 participants and a further 20 re-entries, the final result was 318 entries (277/41) and €159,000 in prize money. The second flight featured some of the failed players from day 1A, but also some new faces like Tanja Wagermaier, Antonio and Roberto Turrisi, Johannes Mansbart or Thomas Sommerer and many more. 888poker Pro Vivi Saliba was also back, as was GGPoker streamer Jan “HansiWurst” Wagner, as well as Ilse Janda and Gunter Karl, Thomas Hofmann, Adi Rajkovic, Konstantin Hammermüller and many more.

With 50,000 chips and 30 minutes of levels we went to the tables, late reg was again possible until the beginning of level 7. Unlike the day before, it should be very tough in between, and reaching the bubble was tedious. Finally, Christian Waldauer had to say goodbye to the Kings with pocket 8s and the actual bubble was reached. Here, too, it should take a few double-ups before Adi Rajkovic comes along against by Michael Schnabel ensured the end of the day.

It was also Adi Rajkovic who was the only one able to break through the million mark and thus also took the chip lead. 25 players came on day 1B more, together with the 23 players from day 1A, the blinds 5k/10k/10k go into the final at 2 p.m. Everyone is already guaranteed €1,130 as min-cash, with €30,420 awaiting the winner at the end.
