At the Los Pynandi World Cup stadium in Paraguay, this Saturday, May 21, starting at 3:00 p.m., the Argentine Beach Soccer Team will make its debut, against the Colombian team, in the 2022 Copa América Beach Soccer. This game will be on the signal of DirecTV and DeporTV.
The selection directed by Hernán Magrini, integrates Group A, together with the selections of Ecuador, Chile, Colombia and the local Paraguay. The other group is made up of Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia and Venezuela. This is the third edition of the tournament, which was previously held in 2016 in Brazil and 2018 in Peru. It should be noted that the 2020 edition was not held due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The format of this tournament will be as follows: Preliminary Phase (group phase) and Final Phase (semifinal and final). The first two of each group qualify for the Final Phase.
